ELEC 323 Continuous-Time Signals and Systems F | 3.75 Lecture: 3 Lab: 0.25 Tutorial: 0.5 This is a first course on the basic concepts and applications of signals and systems analysis. Continuous time signals and systems are emphasized. Topics include: representations of continuous-time signals; linear time invariant systems; convolution, impulse response, step response; review of Laplace transforms with applications to circuit and system analysis; transfer function; frequency response and Bode plots; filtering concepts; Fourier series and Fourier transforms; signal spectra; AM modulation and demodulation; introduction to angle modulation.
